The weather is getting colder and colder. And of course, fall is the perfect season for spices!
I love love chai latte. But whenever you go to a cafe, it can be quite a gamble between a cup yummy or icky chai. Too watery… Too spicy… You get the drift. Well, we’ve been trying out a gazillion chai recipes! And finally… Here it is… A warm cup of chai to accompany you in a cold day.
2 cups milk of choice
1 black teabag
1 tsp ginger
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp sugar
1/8 tsp cardamom
1/8 tsp nutmeg
A dash allspice
A dash cardamom
1 tbs honey (optional)
1. Heat milk and teabag in a pot.
2. When it comes to a simmer, add the rest of the ingredients (except honey), and let the tea brew for a few minutes.
3. Stir in 1 tbs honey and pour it into your favorite mug.
