Clean-eating Applesauce

Applesauce is a great substitute for oil when you’re baking. It’s so easy to make, there’s no reason for you to spend all that money to buy one in a jar.

Cinnamon sticks (or powder)
Honey (optional)

1. Core apple and cut into cubes.

2. Put apple cubes in sauce pan, add in water (enough to cover the apples but not completely. There should be some parts of the apples that are sticking out of the water). Add in cinnamon.

3. Cook in medium-high heat until apples are soft.

4. Mash.

If your applesauce is too tart, add honey according to your preference.

Bon appétit!
