A few months ago I bought a salon package that included a whole bunch of stuff (including hair highlights). So the other day, I… TURNED MY HAIR PURPLE!!!! Eeeeek!!! I was extremely excited =3 My boyfriend went up to me and said, “I think your puberty is late. Usually people get highlights in their early teenage years.”
Anyways! I’m really loving my hair. My stylist did SUCH an amazing job!
Enough about my hair! And let’s talk about apple season!!! I found my favorite apples called “Sweet Tang” in Whole Foods yesterday, and I just splurged on apples haha! So of course I have to have some for breakfast ;] Apple pie oatmeal. Oh yeahhhhh!
1 apple, chopped
1/3 cup oatmeal
1-1/2 cups water
1/2 tsp cinnamon
A pinch all spices
1 TBS maca powder
1 scoop protein powder
1. Combine all ingredients (except maca, protein powder. and sweetener, if using).
2. Bring water to a boil, then reduce simmer.
3. Stir in maca, protein powder, and sweetener.
It’s like eating dessert for breakfast! Bon appétit!
